Sembra che debba leggersi "Gaspar Massi Sculp." . - La linea dell'iscriz. con la data di morte dell'effigiato non si presenta come un'aggiunta posteriore, quindi ci dà il terminus post quem dell'incisione. Se questo è vero, ne consegue che o la stampa non è del Massi o la data 1731 che il Benezit indica per la morte dell'A. non è esatta
