Liber veritatis, or a collection of two hundred prints, after the original designs of Claude le Lorrain, in the collection of his Grace the Duke of Devonshire, executed by Richard Earlom in the manner and taste of the drawings to which is added a descriptive catalogue of each print. - London : Published by the Proprietor John Boydell Engraver in Cheapside, 1777. - 2 v. (200 stampe).

Nel 1804 apparve un terzo volume contenente altre 100 stampe. Nel sec. XIX anche le prime lastre subirono ulteriori tirature. - Nel 1839 ne fece una nuova tiratura il Bohn a Parigi e inserì un indice delle tavole in cui venivano indicati i nuovi proprieta ri dei disegni originali. - Delle tavole venne fatta una copia a Roma e qui pubblicata nel 1815 e segg. da Lod. Caracciolo, sempre in 2 volumi, ma col titolo in italiano. Realizzate sempre a imitazione dei disegni, ma stampate "au bistre", queste incision i sono meno riuscite di quelle inglesi. Derivano da questa serie dell'Earlom anche i fogli della serie: BROMLEY John, Beauties of Claude Lorraine. London, by W.B. Cooke, 1825. - Delle tavole conservate nella nostra raccolta solo il n. inv. 18572 appartien e al primo volume, tutte le altre provengono dal terzo in varie tirature. Per quanto riguarda la tecnica, sebbene tutte le lastre abbiano l'aspetto di acquaforte + acquatinta tirate in seppia, si notano molte varianti: spesso l'acquatinta è rinforzata con fitti e sottili tratti di puntasecca e con rotelle, a volte sostituita da una granitura, in un caso l'acquaforte è sostituita dalla vernice molle.
