Data incisione: 1774 . - La firma del Berteaux è abbozzata nell'ang. inf. sin. La lettura dell'ultima cifra della data è incerta . - Sopra a sin.: "Troisième Tableau"; al cen. il titolo; sotto all'imm., su 4 righe, la descrizione della battaglia: "Le 29 Septembre 1567. Marche du Régiment Suisse de Pfiffer, de Meaux à Paris..."; sotto a sin.: "A. P. D. R."; a dx.: "N.° 127" . - Il Masquelier, secondo l'uso francese nel Settecento, si è limitato a rifinire al bulino un'acquaforte di un altro artista. Circa quest'ultimo poi, ci sembra più opportuno identificarlo col Duplessi-Berteaux, piuttosto che con J. B. Berteaux (op. a Parigi nella II metà del sec. XVIII)
