L'Autore è indicato con scritta antica a inchiostro sotto a destra: "Teod. de Bry inc." . - In: BOISSARD Jean Jacques, Romanae Urbis Topographiae et Antiquitatum. Francoforte, Theodor de Bry, 1597-1602, 6 tomi in 2 voll. coi ritratti ripetuti sia del Boissard che del De Bry. L'esecuzione dell'incisione è assegnata al De Bry che scrive sul frontespizio: "Figurae aliquot eleganter in aere incisae artifice Theodoro de Bry head."; sul front. del II volume e su alcune tavole di analogo stile vi è la firma "Jacobus Granthomme fecit", mentre sul front. del IV tomo e su una tavola compare il monogramma BR (uguale a quello di René Boyvin); molte tavole poi sono anonime, altre sono all'acquaforte.
