Tra gli artisti con questo cognome, il nostro A. potrebbe identificarsi con CLEMENT Alex. che il Thieme-Becker dice incisore a punti operante a Parigi dal 1775 al 1808. Meno probabile sembra un'identificazione con Johann Frederik Clemens . - Sotto il titolo: "This do in remembrance of me: S.t Luke Chap. 22. Ver. 19. Engraved from the Original Picture in the Chapel Royal at Windsor" . - Copia molto fedele, nello stesso verso, delle stesse dimensioni e con la stessa iscrizione da un'incisione di Thomas Ryder edita da J. & J. Boydell nel 1797
